Meta has expanded NFT functionality to Facebook and Instagram users from the U.S.
The company also announced that Instagram’s NFT features are now available in 100 countries across the world
Users need to connect their digital wallet to Meta’s platforms to use NFT functionality
Meta rolls out support for NFTs in the US as Instagram’s NFT feature goes live in 100 countries globally
Social media giant Meta has announced a massive expansion of its NFT program, allowing all Facebook and Instagram users in the U.S. to showcase digital collectibles they themselves created or bought.
In addition to the U.S. rollout, Meta announced that Instagram’s non-fungible token (NFT) features are now supported in 100 countries across Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and the Americas. The company shared the news on Twitter.
According to the company’s official announcement, users need to connect their digital wallet, such as Metamask or Coinbase Wallet, to use the NFT feature. As of right now, Meta’s NFT functionality supports Ethereum, Polygon, and Flow blockchains.

Meta revealed that users wouldn’t have to worry about any fees that might be associated with posting or sharing NFTs on Instagram.
The company highlighted what it aims to achieve with NFT functionality in a statement:
“At Meta, we’re looking at what creators are already doing across our technologies in order to improve the experience, help them create more monetization opportunities, and bring NFTs to a broader audience.”
The digital collectible rollout comes roughly half a year after Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg initially revealed that NFTs are coming to the platform. In May, Instagram started trialing the feature and revealed that the native minting functionality might be coming to the platform “over time.”
Meta is far from being the only major social media player that is expanding into the digital collectibles space – video-streaming giant YouTube and social media platform Twitter are also working on their own NFT products and services.
While every market is subject to its volatility, over recent years, due to its breakthrough technology and emerging trends, cryptocurrency has become one of, if not the most popular markets. This has also crowned it as one of the most volatile.
Because of this, traders are limited by their physical capabilities; they can only react to price fluctuation to a degree, but not quickly enough to fully maximize the potential of every trade consistently.
However, there are lasting solutions that can bridge trade gaps. One of which is bots, an automated tool that provides crypto signals and conducts trades on behalf of humans.
In this article, you will learn what a trading bot is and how it provides crypto signals for traders.
What Is A Crypto Trading Bot?
Crypto trading bots are automated tools programmed to trade cryptocurrencies. Crypto trading bots can analyze and interpret market data. It gathers information on the market, analyzes specific data such as price movement, and executes trades by buying/selling cryptocurrencies at lightning speeds.
These bots are like professionals who trade for you while you watch your investment yield returns. Since hiring institutional or professional investors costs significantly more than setting up a bot to trade for you, many traders are shifting towards using automated crypto bots. It’s easier now than ever to become a crypto auto trader.
How Do Bots Provide Signals?
There are various bots, each one providing its unique benefits as well as different software and hardware requirements. You can search for a bot that suits your needs and download it as a program, unlike years ago, when it usually required some coding experience or a highly technical background to operate.
To benefit from the execution of a bot, you must know how to use the tool and have accounts set up on exchange platforms. Again, some short time ago, this was a daunting task to many, but in modern times most platforms have guides, tutorials, and even support teams to help with the process.
In addition, you should already have your crypto assets in these accounts. Although the bots help with providing signals, you still have to make some decisions about buying and selling crypto assets. Here’s how a crypto trading bot provides signals:
● Firstly, you will need to choose the kind of crypto trading bot that will satisfy your trading needs because several types are available. Some bots only offer pre-programmed trading strategies, while others are developed for a long-term investment. Crypto trading bots function through Application Programming interfaces (APIs), and it’s developed on an investor’s trading account.
For clarity, most bots come with a built-in pre-programmed trading guideline. In contrast, in other bots, the user (trader) must create market conditions, set support and resistance areas, and create oversold and overbought areas, among others.
● Then, you can use the trading bot signals with the exchange platform you want. Crypto bots are mostly linked to a live market statistic feed or an exchange platform. For example, certain exchanges have their own trading bots built in to their platform (while other platforms provide bots as a service to connect with exchanges).
After selecting the exchange, the next thing will be to open an account and transfer funds into the exchange to use with your chosen bot.
● Crypto trading bots help you to analyze the crypto market and conduct trade on your behalf with up to 99% accuracy. But, first, you must adjust the bot’s settings to your trading strategy (unless copy trading, which is the act of copying trade setups from professional traders.)
● The bot gathers, analyzes, and interprets data more intelligently, quicker, and efficiently than humanly possible. Then, it does the trader’s work, makes predictions, and identifies different potential trades based on market statistics and technical analysis indicators. After the bot has analyzed the data, it begins signal generation.
● It allocates risk according to parameters and configurations already set by the trader, which involves setting how funds are distributed during trading. Then trades are conducted based on the signal generated by the trading bot. The signal will either create a buy or sell order and is then executed.
● An example of what the bot does is that it automatically buys crypto, say at $5k, and then sells at $6k. Though it depends on how you configure the bot to operate, in this trade, you have made a profit of $1k. It also heavily depends on a trader’s strategy and trading type. For instance, a scalper and day trader may have a shorter take-profit level than a swing trader.
Conclusion
Crypto trading bots are gradually becoming popular in the Decentralized finance space. And the bots have been helpful to traders in conducting successful trades; it just needs to be appropriately configured to meet the trading needs of the user. If you still wish to make some advanced decisions, you can program some resistance or limits to the bot.
Crypto asset trades emerge one after another, and leveraged ETFs are becoming the next star product after futures. MEXC, the cryptocurrency exchange with the highest futures trading liquidity on the Internet, takes the lead again in the cryptocurrency market with leveraged ETFs.
Comparing the leveraged ETF depth indicators of trading platforms such as Binance, MEXC, Kucoin, Gate, and Huobi, and analyzing their leveraged ETF transactions of mainstream cryptocurrencies with the highest market cap, it is found that the top three platforms in depth performance are MEXC, Binance, and Kucoin. The data shows that in terms of the trading depth of BTC 3L, ETH 3L, LTC 3L, and EOS 3L, MEXC ranks first in the aspect of liquidity.
Taking BTC 3L as an example, the depth of 1% on MEXC is 14,403,439USDT; The depth of 1% on Binance, which ranks second, is 87,359.56USDT; And the depth of 1% on Kucoin, which ranks third, is only 48,479.6USDT. At this depth, MEXC has surpassed the sum of Binance and Kucoin, and the gap tends to widen.
Comparing ETH, LTC, EOS and other mainstream cryptocurrencies, it can also be seen that MEXC’s leveraged ETF trading has the best liquidity, and the depth of other trading platforms is much lower than MEXC. Meanwhile, according to cryptorank data, Binance’s 24-hour leveraged ETF trading volume was $23.67 million USD, accounting for 63.5% of the market; MEXC’s 24-hour leveraged ETF trading volume was $9.25 million USD, with a market share of 24.8%, ranking second.
The leveraged ETF was first launched by MEXC in November 2019. It is a perpetual leveraged product that magnifies the price change of the benchmarked asset, aiming to provide leveraged returns on the benchmarked perpetual futures. It can be understood as an exchange-traded fund with leverage multiples.
The trading rules of leveraged ETF products are as simple as those of spot products. It is not necessary to use part of the margin to occupy positions like futures. At the same time, it can achieve multiple gains and returns like futures, so it is favored by some investors with low risk appetite.
At present, each token on MEXC supports leveraged ETF trading of 3x long (3L) and 3x short (3S), and some mainstream cryptocurrencies also support 2x, 4x, or 5x leverage and the risk is controllable. For example, when you want to go 3x long for BTC, you only need to buy BTC3L/USDT; When you want to go 3x short for BTC, you only need to buy BTC3S/USDT; And when you want to clear the position, you only need to sell the corresponding position. Leveraged ETFs do not use margins to occupy positions and do not have liquidation rules, so there is no need to worry about the risk of liquidation.
Leveraged ETFs have a rebalance mechanism, and the compound interest effect is obvious. In the continuous rising/falling market, the daily profit will be automatically transferred to the position and reinvested to realize compound interest, and the profit will be higher than that of margin or futures products of the same multiple. At present, MEXC supports leveraged ETF trading of more than 300 cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, DOT, ATOM, SHIB, DOGE, AAVE, CRV, etc. It provides the most cryptocurrencies on the Internet, allowing traders to have different choices in different trends or unilateral market conditions.
About MEXC:
MEXC is the world’s leading cryptocurrency trading platform, providing one-stop cryptocurrency trading services for spot, ETF, futures, Staking, NFT Index, etc.,and serving more than 10 million users worldwide. The TRON DAO team recently participated in and sponsored three of the most prominent blockchain and crypto conferences of 2022. All three happened in late September within 9 days of one another.
Mainnet 2022 was held in New York City on 21-23 September 2022. Mainnet identifies itself as “an immersive, agenda-setting summit held annually by Messari,” the research company offering “investors, developers, entrepreneurs, and newcomers alike with reliable information and data tools that help them participate intelligently in the crypto economy.” Pier 36 on the East Side of Manhattan was the venue site. TRON was a Diamond Sponsor among a few other major projects in the space.
Mainnet speakers represented a wide variety with topics of conversation focused on DAOs and DeFi governance, taxes and regulation, the future of money, cross-chain interoperability, web3 going mobile, NFT utility, on-chain data, social media on the blockchain, the open Metaverse, Layer threes (L3s), asset-backed stablecoins, and web3 privacy.
SmartCon 2022 was also held in New York City, but a week later, on 28-29 September 2022. Hosted by Chainlink, this year’s theme was “Invent the Future of web3.” SmartCon dubs itself the place to learn “from industry luminaries, building alongside the best developers in the space, and connecting with fellow community members from across the globe… for those who get what Web3 is really about and those who want to learn.”
H.E. Justin Sun, founder of TRON, presented at this year’s event, highlighting the story of TRON as well as the many significant partnerships and accomplishments over the last two years. He especially noted the GameFi opportunities available for development in the TRON ecosystem, in partnership with Binance, along with TRON’s collaboration with Chainlink on various assets, including the stablecoin USDD. Sun encouraged those in attendance, “Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Mainstream adoption will come as we stay true to our mission of decentralizing the web. And, if we do, TRON has the capability to become the blockchain global settlement layer of the future.”
Speakers at SmartCon represented many major brands and topics included the governance conundrum, the open Metaverse, bridging from TradFi to DeFi, web3 real estate, smart contracts that will unlock Bitcoin, automating business, climate action, better user experiences, decentralized insurance, web3 education, interoperability, and modular scalability.
Converge22 was held on 27-30 September 2022 in San Francisco. At Circle’s inaugural crypto ecosystem conference, leaders from all over the world came together to discuss what is necessary next, so we can build the new global crypto economy together. The conference featured five main stage events with more than 50 breakout sessions. TRON was a Silver Sponsor at the event among many other major institutions.
The speakers list included sports celebrities / entrepreneurs Serena Williams and Mark Cuban, along with many other leaders. Topics included next-gen user experiences, digital financial literacy, on-chain security and privacy, crypto payments and payroll, regulation, and a scalable web3 infrastructure.
All three conferences included numerous after hours events and parties. Of note, the night before the start of Messari Mainnet, the TRON Whale Night took place to honor those who have committed significant worth and value into the TRON ecosystem.
About TRON DAO
TRON DAO is a community-governed DAO dedicated to accelerating the decentralization of the internet via blockchain technology and dApps.
Founded in September 2017 by H.E. Justin Sun, the TRON network has continued to deliver impressive achievements since MainNet launch in May 2018. July 2018 also marked the ecosystem integration of BitTorrent, a pioneer in decentralized Web3 services boasting over 100 million monthly active users. The TRON network has gained incredible traction in recent years. As of August 2022, it has over 112 million total user accounts on the blockchain, nearly 3.9 billion total transactions, and over $13.2 billion in total value locked (TVL), as reported on TRONSCAN. In addition, TRON hosts the largest circulating supply of USD Tether (USDT) stablecoin across the globe, overtaking USDT on Ethereum since April 2021. The TRON network completed full decentralization in December 2021 and is now a community-governed DAO. Most recently, the over-collateralized decentralized stablecoin USDD was launched on the TRON blockchain, backed by the first-ever crypto reserve for the blockchain industry – TRON DAO Reserve, marking TRON’s official entry into decentralized stablecoins.
USD Coin issuer Circle has announced that USDC will go live on five additional blockchains in the coming months
The list of chains USDC will expand to includes Arbitrum, Cosmos, NEAR, Optimism, and Polkadot
The news comes amid a decreasing USDC circulating supply – the USDC market cap has decreased by more than 10% since March
Circle announces the biggest USDC expansion to date, plans support for 13 different blockchains in total
Circle, the company behind USD Coin, the second largest market cap stablecoin in the industry, has announced a massive expansion is in the works in the coming months. According to the company’s official statement, USDC will go live on Arbitrum, NEAR, Optimism, and Polkadot by the end of this year. In addition, support for the interoperability-focused Cosmos chain is planned for early next year.
Circle’s Vice President of Product, Joao Reginatto, had the following to say about the major expansion:
“The multi-chain expansion is intended to increase USDC’s native availability from eight ecosystems to thirteen, and enables blockchain developers building on USDC and their users to experience greater liquidity and interoperability within the crypto economy.”
Reginatto added that making USDC available on additional chains will allow developers, institutions, and exchanges to innovate and have access to liquidity provided by the “trusted and stable digital dollar”.
USDC’s latest expansion came in June, when it was unveiled that Circle Account and Circle APIs had been made available on Polygon, a popular layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum.
As of this writing, USDC is natively supported across Algorand, Avalanche, Ethereum, Flow, Hedera, Solana, Stellar, and TRON.
USDC supply decreased by over -10% amid the bear market
The circulating supply of USDC has decreased from its peak of $47.3 billion in March 2022 to $41.8 billion today, roughly a -10.5% drop. The decrease reflects the broader market trend that saw most crypto assets lose more than -60% since the start of this year due to a combination of macroeconomic factors, including rising inflation and interest rates, the energy crisis, and a series of geopolitical uncertainties.
Similar to USDC, the largest stablecoin Tether, has also seen a considerable circulating supply decrease in the past couple of months. According to data curated by The Block, USDT hit a market valuation of roughly $83 billion in April. It has lost more than $15 billion since then.
Margin trading allows traders to magnify their exposure to markets by borrowing capital from a third party, usually a broker. While margin trading has been used in traditional financial circles for decades, the investing approach has recently found its way to crypto as well.
Being the largest cryptocurrency trading platform in the world, Binance is one of the premier destinations for cryptocurrency margin trading. The platform support countless crypto trading pairs, up to 10x leverage on spot margin trades, and charges low trading fees.
Before exploring the main benefits of using Binance Margin in more detail, let’s first briefly touch upon the mechanics of margin trading. If you are familiar with the topic, we suggest you skip to the next section, or you can stick around for a quick refresher.
As briefly mentioned in the opening paragraphs, margin trading refers to the practice of borrowing capital from a third party, either a broker, an exchange, or any other lender, to increase exposure to markets. A person borrowing funds has to fulfill to criteria – ample collateral has to be supplied and interest on borrowed funds paid.
Once the margin trading position is closed, the borrowed funds are repaid along with interest, while a trader pockets the price discrepancy between the price an asset was bought and sold at as a profit.
Margin trading (trading spot assets with leverage) shouldn’t be confused with crypto futures trading (trading derivative contracts with leverage). To help alleviate the confusion, Binance put together a handy cheat sheet that lists the main differences between the two.
The main differences between crypto margin trading and futures trading. Image source: Binance (via Twitter)
Example of crypto margin trading
Trading on margin is usually done using leverage, which determines how big of an impact market movements will have on potential profits and losses.
For the purpose of this article, let’s imagine a scenario where a trader buys 1 Bitcoin on margin using 10x leverage. Let’s take the current market rate of Bitcoin, roughly $20,000, as a baseline.
In regular spot market trading, if Bitcoin were to improve to $22,000, thus increasing by 10%, a person holding BTC would make $2,000 in profit once it was sold. Conversely, if BTC would decrease by 10%, a holder would end up losing $2,000.
Let’s use the above price movement to illustrate how margin and leverage work. Using 10x leverage with 1 BTC collateral essentially means that a trader operates in the market as if it had 10 BTC. A third party supplies the additional 9 BTC as margin.
With the spot price of BTC increasing from $20,000 to $22,000, a trader’s 10x leveraged position would increase from $200,000 to $220,000. With 9 BTC (worth $198,000) that was borrowed repaid, a trader would end up pocketing a profit of $22,000 (minus the trading fees).
However, greater susceptibility to market swings means that a trader using 10x leverage would lose its entire collateral in the event Bitcoin would lose 10%. They would be forced to supply more collateral to keep their position open, or face liquidation.
The advantages of cryptocurrency margin trading on Binance
Binance lets traders pursue crypto margin investment with more than 600 trading pairs using both cross margin and isolated margin accounts. Let’s take a closer look at some of the main features of the Binance Margin platform.
600+ trading pairs
One of the main advantages of using Binance compared to most other crypto trading platforms is the sheer number of supported coins and tokens. Another thing that separates Binance from others is the ability to trade cryptos not only against stablecoins but also against Bitcoin and several altcoins. The list of crypto/crypto trading pairings includes:
It is worth noting that by far the most pairs eligible for margin trading are listed under BUSD and USDT trading pairs.
You can search through various asset pairings in the right hand column on the Binance trading page. Image source: Binance
Robust security and risk mitigation
Binance employs a series of security measures to protect its customers from incurring excessive losses or suffering from extreme market volatility.
For starters, an Insurance Fund ensures the profits of winnings traders are always paid out in full. Moreover, the Margin Risk Fund – funded by 15% of all interest fees collected from margin borrowing – is used to cover any outstanding loans of liquidated margin accounts.
Last but not least, Binance rolled out the Margin Cooling-Off Period feature in August 2021 as another measure to encourage responsible trading on the platform. The feature allows traders to freeze their access to margin trading activity for a period of 1 day, 3 days, or 1 week.
Low borrowing fees
It shouldn’t come as any surprise that when borrowing funds for the purposes of margin trading, you have to pay interest. On Binance, fees vary by each cryptocurrency, with large market cap coins usually being cheaper to borrow than smaller, less liquid assets.
For example, the daily interest rate for Bitcoin starts at 0.008027%, while borrowing Dogecoin costs 0.020000% per day.
It is worth noting that users with a higher VIP level pay less in margin fees. For context, the highest VIP-tiered Binance users pay 60% less than non-VIP ones.
Binance is currently running a zero-fee Bitcoin promotion that covers traders’ fees across 13 different BTC trading pairs, making the platform ever more competitive in that regard. For more information, click here.
Isolated and cross-margin trading
There are two common approaches to margin trading – one that involves isolated margin, and one that involves cross-margin.
The maximum leverage level depends on the margin type – Binance offers up to 3x leverage on Cross-margin mode and up to 10x for Isolated margin positions. Image source: Binance
Isolated margin refers to a margined trading position that is restricted from other positions in a margin account. The benefit of isolated margin is that if a trade goes awry, the position is liquidated without impacting a trader’s other margin positions.
Cross-margin hedges the entire margin portfolio, meaning that if one margin position incurs losses, another position can be used to maintain margin requirements. The benefit of using cross-margin is that a trader can enter more positions with the same amount of collateral. However, one bad margin trade can render other positions in an account unprofitable, or in the worst case, liquidated.
Binance supports a maximum leverage level of 10x with Isolated margin mode enabled and a maximum of 3x leverage when using Cross-margin mode. While some platforms do offer higher leverage, it must be noted that using high leverage levels with crypto assets (or any other asset for that matter) can be extremely risky.
Using leverage can turn even the most minute price movements into highly lucrative investment opportunities. In turn, high leverage can lead to major losses. We would advise newcomers to start by using low leverage levels first, and gradually progress toward higher levels once they get comfortable.
For a better understanding of what 10x leverage entails, check the Example of crypto margin trading section above.
Wrapping up
Thanks to a broad selection of cryptocurrencies, asset pairings, robust security, and low fees, Binance Margin easily ranks among the best cryptocurrency margin trading platforms in the sector.

Excitement is growing about the alternative decentralized finance platform Radix as its native cryptocurrency token XRD launches on major exchange platforms like Bitmart, Gate.io, LBANK and WhiteBit today.
There’s likely to be big demand for XRD because it’s the primary token of the Radix blockchain, which is a highly specialized decentralized ledger that’s purpose built for DeFi. Unlike other blockchains such as Ethereum and Solana, Radix follows what it calls an “asset-oriented” approach to DeFi, in which cryptocurrency tokens and NFTs are treated as native assets on its platform.
This difference is crucial because it enables developers to create dApps for DeFi using smart contracts that are far less complicated than those on alternative blockchains. The advantage of this is that Radix-based DeFi provides much greater security, as there’s less likelihood that vulnerabilities in its smart contracts will go unnoticed. That’s important because vulnerabilities are the primary reason why millions of dollars in DeFi are lost to hackers, scammers and other ne’er-do-wells each year.
Smart contract code is kept to a minimum on Radix due to its use of components and blueprints, which can be thought of as pre-written lego brick-style code that’s created using its native Scrypto programming language. Developers simply bolt various components and blueprints together to create highly customized DeFi apps, with greater confidence that this code is highly secure.
Given Radix’s unique architecture, it’s no surprise that it has attracted lots of interest since it was first launched earlier this year. Despite going live in what has been one of the harshest crypto winters on record, Radix has enjoyed seven-times transaction volume growth on its network, while the number of active wallets with at least 2,000 XRD has grown by 52%. In total, there are now more than 81,000 active wallets on its network, up from just over 11,000 at the beginning of the year.
With this rapidly growing interest, the listing of XRD on major cryptocurrency exchanges is a key milestone that’s likely to generate even more excitement. Investors will now be able to trade key token pairs like XRD/BTC and XRD/UST. What’s more, the listing coincides with the launch of Radix’s long-awaited Babylon Alphanet, which is said to be stage two of a staggered release schedule that will eventually lead to the Babylong Mainnet going live early next year.
Babylon Alphanet is designed for developers who’re building dApps using Radix Engine, giving them a platform to test various protocols and user interfaces ahead of the mainnet launch. This will ensure that their dApps are ready for prime time. Radix Tokens Jersey Limited CEO Andy Jarret said he wasn’t surprised to see the Radix project’s rapid acceleration.
“We have spent the last eight years building and refining a complete DeFi stack to support a $400 trillion economy, so it’s rewarding to see so many in the crypto community experience the Radix revolution and join the movement.”
FTX US, the U.S. arm of the international FTX exchange, has won an auction for Voyager assets
The exchange reportedly spent $1.4 billion on assets of the bankrupt crypto lender
FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried is reportedly eyeing Celsius’ assets as well
FTX US comes out on top in a “highly competitive auction process”
FTX US cryptocurrency exchange has won the two-week long auction process, during which interested parties were able to submit their bid for the bankrupt cryptocurrency lender Voyager. According to a press release published on Monday, the deal is valued at roughly $1.42 billion, with $111 million in “additional consideration”.
The deal will be submitted to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York on October 19. The court will decide whether the deal follows regulations outlined in the so-called chapter 11 bankruptcy, usually filed by companies that seek business operations restructuring and debt repayment.
An excerpt from Voyager’s press release reads:
“FTX US’s bid maximizes value and minimizes the remaining duration of the Company’s restructuring by providing a clear path forward for the Debtors to consummate a chapter 11 plan and return value to their customers and other creditors.”
Recall that Voyager filed for bankruptcy in July, following a halt in users’ withdrawals, deposits, and trading earlier that month. A big reason for Voyager’s downfall was the company’s $650 million investment in Three Arrows Capital (3AC), which went bankrupt due to its outsized exposure to the Terra ecosystems assets ahead of their price collapse in May.
In related news, FTX founder and CEO Sam Bankman-Fried is reportedly considering buying assets of Celsius, another bankrupt crypto lender. According to an unnamed source cited by Bloomberg on Wednesday, the billionaire owner of FTX is eyeing the assets of the bankrupt lender.
On Sept. 28, during the Token2049 event in Singapore, MEXC Exchange officially announced at the MEXC afterparty “M&M Launcher” that its fund was officially upgraded to M-Ventures and a new management team. The upgraded M-Ventures is a comprehensive fund committed to empowering innovations in the cryptocurrency field via strategic investment, mergers and acquisitions, funds of funds, and project incubation.
At the same time, the upgraded M-Ventures, as a new sub-brand, is affiliated with the MEXC Group and merges the original M-Labs and other diversified investment businesses to fully mobilize the group’s resources and cooperate with top-level partners in the industry. M-Ventures not only provides startup capital for global innovators and teams but also one-stop professional services ranging from project positioning, business cooperation and economic modeling to financing consulting, product marketing and project initiation.
At present, M-Ventures’ own capital scale has reached $200 million. Its core team has more than 10 people from leading institutions, such as McKinsey, Plug & Play, Binance and Huobi, with more than 10 years of experience in traditional financial institutions and the field of cryptocurrency, spanning the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong and other countries. Their expertise includes venture capital, equity investment, industry research, project incubation, product development and asset management.
In the past three years, M-Ventures’ portfolio has included dozens of outstanding projects, such as Polkadot, Avalanche, Manta, deBridge, Dorafactory, zCloak Network, Mina, Phantom, Raydium and Solanium. At the same time, it has also been an early investor and participant in Polkadot, Polygon, Solana, Near and other projects. It has successively established the Polkadot Ecosystem Special Fund and Solana Ecosystem Strategic Fund to support the sustainable development of the infrastructure ecosystem.
In the new round of the blockchain cycle, M-Ventures will mainly focus on three core sectors in the primary market: Web3, the new public chain ecosystem and infrastructure. Sistine, the investment manager of M-Ventures, expressed her views on the above three sectors:
“The technical foundation and market acceptance of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies have developed to the extent that they can support some Web3 applications, which will also be the gateway to lead more users into the Web3 field.”
“There are many combinations of ‘security, scalability and decentralization,’ and other solutions outside the existing mainstream public chains are also worth exploring and putting in use.”
“The cryptocurrency field as a whole is still in its early stage, and the construction and development of infrastructure is an eternal theme. Now is the best time for the industry to reflect, redesign and upgrade Infrastructure.”
Sistine said, “Our core logic in investment is that by consolidating infrastructure and focusing on projects that improve existing technologies and product frameworks in the blockchain field, we can deeply serve the current market share. At the level of expanding market boundaries, we focus on innovative projects that can lower the threshold in the cryptocurrency field and improve user experience to expand the potential, incremental market share.”
